Return to the Den

Subject: Return to the Den 11/15/2013, 11:52 am

After the travels from the Crystal den, Luna was tired. she had often looked back to Fenrir and Lexes. She even took turns carrying her. She was glad to get back to her home in the Kasai pack territory. The sun was setting low when they arrived back and there was no new scents. she was surprised. she was also getting hungry. "are you getting hungry dear?" she asked Fenrir when they stopped outside the den.

The land around the male was comforting, and he walked at a gentle lope, Lexes swaying in his jaws. He stayed behind his mate to keep an eye out as she traveled on, and to also glance back at Reyth who followed them behind.

"I am quite famished, shall we go hunt? We need to drop Lexes off at the den though, who shall sit her?" He asked through his daughter's fur.

The dark lupine trotted along moderately following his packmate's in the den's location, his iris' venturing to the newer sight's that unfolded before him. The word hungry floated into his auditive's and intune with his pronounced desire for aliment within his stomach, noticing he was pretty oblivious to his hunger while feasting was on his mind now.
"Uhhh.."
he vocaled quietly without really intending to say anything, then looked to Fenrir who mentioned pup-sitting. Which Reyth almost forgot the pup was in his care as he merely gave an awkward questioning look to them, more so unsure of who would volunteer for either option.

Fenrir chuckled at their comrade, Reyth. "Would you like to take part in the hunt or wait for us to return? If you decide to hunt, I will stay behind with Lexes. Should you decided to stay, I will need you to babysit our daughter." The male woofed.

He looked at his mate. "That is, unless you would like to take watch, Luna Fang." The male added, although he figured his wife would rather prefer to hunt since she was stuck in the den for a moon as Lexes developed in her first weeks of life. It was quite odd that the couple had only had one pup in their first litter, but Fenrir made sure he cherished their only child and daughter because she was a blessing.

"Hmm" she thought. "It doesnt really matter, i can watch her if you two want to hunt, you have more energy than i do." she turned to Lexes. "how does that sound, you want to play with mommy" she said smiling and then took a peak at Fenrir.

He nodded contently in the action of him and Fenrir going on hunting duty, if Luna herself mentioned the male's had more energy leading him to understand if she felt tired. "I'm sure we can heat thing's up." he grinned playfully indicating their element, then pondering at the thought of even using them. "Old school or lighting thing's up?" he questioned with a light smirk, not minding either option though his flame wouldn't be as fierce due to his growing hunger. Enough to do damage of course, "Or city food even.." he mumbled expressing a very interesting look, considering he didn't know if they even went into the city occasionally.

Luna began to play with lexes as fenrir ad Reyth left. SHe felt tired and was glad to be back. Her mind wondered as she waited for others to come.

Fenrir shook his head. "I do not mind babysitting." He woofed. His vocals deep and throbbing from his chest. Fenrir gave a chuckle at Reyth's remark. "Well, that depends, Reyth -do you like your meat well-done?" He barked. His eyes went alight with flame-like glistening, the idea of using his powers lighting the fire within his veins.
